2026.4.5 Release Notes

Tesla software update 2026.4.5, released on March 18, 2026, covers vehicle convenience and supervised driving. Its 7 documented entries explain changes to the ownership experience, from the features used inside the cabin to the software operating behind them. Availability depends on the vehicle and the requirements of each entry.

FSD (Supervised) v14.1.5 is listed for Cybertruck with HW4. Availability follows the requirements of each entry; the update number alone does not identify which driving branch a vehicle receives.

Autopilot Naming Update changes labels used in the vehicle: Navigate on Autopilot becomes Navigate on Autosteer, and FSD Computer becomes AI Computer. These wording changes do not alter how the existing features operate. Owners may therefore notice new names in menus without receiving a corresponding change to driving behavior from this entry.

FSD (Supervised) v14.1.5 focuses on destination arrival, blocked-road routing and interactions with gates, debris and nearby traffic. It also improves recovery from degraded operation and adds alerts for windshield residue affecting camera visibility. These changes cover both ordinary route decisions and less predictable situations, while driver supervision continues throughout. Arrival Options saves parking or drop-off preferences separately for each destination. Speed Profiles uses driver preferences, road limits and traffic to select driving pace. MAD MAX adds a more assertive option than HURRY. UI Improvements puts driving preferences directly in the center display visualization. Arrival preferences can be adjusted there as well.

Brake Confirm makes the activation pedal-confirmation step configurable and defaults it off in this entry. Full Self-Driving (Supervised) describes assistance with leaving a parked position, following navigation routes, changing lanes, making turns and parking at the destination. Drivers can activate the feature through the screen or right scroll-wheel button when available. The driver continues to supervise the road and remains responsible for taking control whenever needed.

Driving assistance continues to require continuous driver supervision. The documented capabilities can include features carried forward within the same software branch.

Below, you can find the individual 2026.4.5 Release Notes, with images and the vehicle and hardware requirements for each documented feature.
